As I’ve mentioned before, I love my two dogs,  Loomis (an 11 year old fiest) and Kepler (a two year old Whippet).  They are overloaded with personality – Loomis is a grumbly old lady that can never be convinced to change her ways,  and Kepler is a spunky child with limitless energy who has never met a stranger.  They are both spoiled creatures that even sleep in my bed (don’t judge me).

I grew up with a house full of dogs and can’t imagine life without pets.  In my future dream home I  plan to have a large yard with enough room for two miniature donkeys and a few chickens.  With this appreciation of animals, I was excited to learn that Carolina Pad has partnered with the Humane Society of the United States to create a line of products that benefit the Humane Society.

With 17 years of schooling under my belt, I’ve had my fair share of time to evaluate notebooks.  That’s why it says a lot that when I went school supply shopping the other week for graduate school supplies, I chose Carolina Pad products.  Their notebooks are sturdy and top notch, and they have a wide variety of designs to choose from.  As a North Carolinian, I also love that Carolina Pad is headquartered in Charlotte, NC.

As for the design of these Humane Society notebooks and binder, I think that they are perfect for elementary and middle school kids.  They are fun and cartoonish, and I imagine that young tweens and teens would especially enjoy them.  They’re not exactly my style, but I love the quality none-the-less.  The notebooks are my favorite, as their covers are thick and durable and I never have to worry about them tearing as I hurriedly shove them in and out of my bookbag.
